July 15, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

The Blues only two restricted free agents are most likely going to avoid arbitration. Winger Jamal Mayers has agreed to the Blues qualifying offer, which will pay him $800,000 next season. Mayers scored five goals and handed out six assists in 2003-2004. Recently acquired goaltender Patrick Lalime is also close to signing with the team by accepting the Blues qualifying offer of $2.75-million.
