Federal Homeland Security officials have warned that terrorists could try to strike between now and the November Election Day. And they have even asked about contingency plans should that election day need to be moved. Missouri’s election authority, Secretary of State Matt Blunt says this state’s laws really don’t provide for that option. But Blunt says a contingency plan could be set up very carefully. Blunt says he’d like to see more focus on how to prevent such attacks in the first place.
