The Best Play Award features Dante Hall’s 93-yard punt return against Denver and a wall-banging catch from Jim Edmonds. Priest Holmes is up for NFL player of the year and Albert Pujols is a nominee for baseball player of the year. St. Louis natives Cory Spinks and Pete Weber are up for Boxer and Bowler of the Year and fisherman Denny Brauer of Camdenton is in the running for outdoor athlete of the year. ESPN will air the ESPY awards show on July 18th.
