Governor Bob Holden has signed one of his priority bills from this year’s legislative session. It’s his “Jobs Now” proposal – which ends some tax credit programs and uses the savings to pay for infrastructure improvements. The program will create only $12-Million for infrastructure work. But Holden says the payoffs will be bigger because those improvements will help communities attract more jobs later.
