Highway Holiday Weekend Death Toll Stands At 14

July 6, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

It’s 14 and counting, probably, in listing the highway fatalities for the holiday weekend. Missouri State Highway Patrol Sergeant John Hotz says the 14 is the same number killed outright during last year’s holiday weekend. Six people injured in July 4th weekend crashes last year died within a month, making the death total for last year’s holiday weekend to 20. Hotz says the books won’t close on this weekend’s numbers for 30 days.
