The unbeliveable finishes continue at Busch Stadium. Down 3-2 in the ninth inning, the Cardinals rallied for a 4-3 win over the Reds. With two on and two out in the ninth, Tony Womack’s ground ball to short was booted by Barry Larkin, allowing the tying run to score. Albert Pujols led off the bottom of the 10th with a solo home run, his 18th homer of the year. The Cardinals have now won five games in a row, and lead both Chicago and Cincinnati by three games in the National League Central.
