Marlon Anderson’s ground ball to second got away from Marco Scutaro, allowing two runs to score. Reggie Sanders then brought in the game-winning run with a single to center. The Cardinals had been 0-24 this season when trailing after eight innings. St. Louis has now won 16 of 21.
