It took a while, but the Royals finally got the bats going on Wednesday. Kansas City rallied for a 10-4 win over the Atlanta Braves. Atlanta led 3-1 after seven innings, but the Royals scored four runs in the eighth and five more in the ninth. Angel Berroa started the rally with a three-run home run in the eighth. Berroa finished 3-for-5 with four RBI. Carlos Beltran had three hits and two RBI for K.C. Joe Randa went 4-for-5 with an RBI double. As a team, the Royals banged out 20 hits for the first time since 2001. Jaime Cerda picked up the win in relief.
