Boeing has scored a major victory, landing a nearly $4-Billion deal with the Navy to build the successor to the Navy’s aging anti-submarine aircraft. The contract will add 1,600 jobs to Boeing’s workforce, including at least 200 in St. Louis. The St. Louis jobs will include engineering and management. The Multi-Mission Maritime Aircraft contract has the potential to grow to $20-Billion over the years. Boeing beat out Lockheed Martin for the contract.
