Former Mizzou shot putter Christian Cantwell continued his strangle-hold on his title as the world’s best in the sport this weekend. In Gresham, Oregon, Cantwell won the shot put event at the 14th Annual Oregon Track Classic with a throw of 73 feet, 11 ½ inches on Saturday. It was Cantwell’s 12th win in a row and it broke his previous personal best by seven and a half inches. Cantwell will attempt to qualify for the Olympics in July.
