Today is the day that Kurt Warner may officially become an ex-Ram. The team is expected to cut Warner, and make him a free agent. By waiting until June first, teams can spread a player’s salary cap hit over two years. While Warner’s next stop is unknown, he has already met with the Giants about the possibility of coming to New York. Warner isn’t the only well known veteran that may be headed to the chopping block–Titans running back Eddie George and Raiders quarterback (and ex-Chief) Rich Gannon may also be let go today.
