The Royals couldn’t keep the ball in the park on Monday and lost to the Tigers 8-4. Carlos Guillen and Eric Munson hit two homers apiece and Omar Infante went deep as well to give the Tigers five home runs on the day. Kansas City starter Darrell May completed five innings, was charged with five runs and dropped to 2-7 on the season. Tony Graffanino, Matt Stairs, Ken Harvey and Desi Relaford drove in runs for the Royals in the loss.
