Talent Reacts To Latest Terror Threat Warning

May 26, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

Senator Jim Talent reacts to the latest information on new terror threats, saying Americans must remain vigilant, but should try to go about their everyday business. Officials in Washington say the U.S. has credible information of possible new terror attacks in the coming months. Talent says there are several reasons these plots are being planned as we head into summer … and one of them is the upcoming change of power in Iraq. As for those who suggest the U.S. is being targeted as a result of our involvement in Iraq, Talent says they’re wrong because the terrorists attacked us on September 11th, 2001 – long before the U.S. entered Iraq. There is concern the terrorists could try to attack events such as the summer national political conventions in Boston and New York.
