The River City Rascals baseball team in O’Fallon has cancelled a promotion called “Sports Criminals Night”, where fans would get free admission for wearing jerseys of athletes who have been in trouble with the law. The promotion, which was to happen on the 10-year anniversary of O.J. Simpson’s arrest, would have also sold bread and water at concession stands for a dollar. The River City Rascals compete in the independent Frontier League.
