May 24, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

No one wants to be the slowest, but considering the last week of Robby McGehee’s life, slowest is just fine. McGehee, who is a St. Louis area native, wasn’t able to secure a ride until late last week. Once he got a car, he proceeded to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 grabbing the 33rd, and final, spot on the field Sunday. McGehee hasn’t competed since last year’s Indy 500. This will be his fifth time to Indianapolis will be McGhee’s first race since last year’s Indy is in the field of the Indianapolis 500. His first trip to Indy was his best, when he finished fifth.
