Former SLU soccer player Brian Benton has died at the age of 26, for reasons still undetermined. Benton played two seasons at Saint Louis and led them in scoring in 1997. Before that he was a star at Drury University in Springfield. Brian Benton played high school soccer at Hickman High School in Columbia.
