The Missouri boys golf championsihps are underway and three of the leaders after day one fell just short of state titles in 2003. Chamindae has the lead in Class 4, Mount Vernon is ahead in Class 2 and Salisbury tops the list in Class three—all three schools finished in second place last season. Ozark is the leader in Class 2. Individual leaders are Justin Bardgett (-5) of Chamindae in Class 4, Brian Williams (-2) of Excelsior Springs in Class 3, Justin Yoder (even) of Versailles in Class 2, and Case Ruckman (+1) of Albany in Class 1. Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield is hosting the Class 4 tournament, Silo Ridge in Bolivar is the home for Class 3, Stewart Golf Course in Springfield has the Class 2 play and Deer Lake Golf Course in Springfield is hosting Class 1.
