One of the people accused last week of running a consumer “credit repair” business, fraudulently, has agreed to pay $10,000 to customers he is accused of defrauding. But a private lawyer who’s been after Kevin McDaniel for a couple of years says not to expect him to really pay up anytime soon. Court records show McDaniel has credit problems of his own. The records say he owes credtors more than $37,000. The state’s lawsuit against McDaniel says he defrauded 29 clients.
