Rams linebacker Leonard Little could face four years in jail for a DWI arrest last weekend. On Saturday, Little was pulled over by Ladue, Missouri police for speeding. According to a police report, Little failed three sobriety tests and was arrested. Yesterday in St. Louis, he was charged with felony drunken driving. Normally, the incident would warrant a misdemeanor charge, but his 1999 conviction on involuntary manslaughter automatically moved it up to a felony offense. In 1998, while driving home from his 24th birthday party, Little hit and killed Susan Gutweiler of St. Louis. Little’s career turned around dramatically over the last three seasons—since 2001, he’s averaged 13 sacks per season. If convicted, Little could face up to four years in jail.
