If only the Royals could play the Indians all the time. Kansas City snapped its six-game losing streak with a 15-5 demolishing of Cleveland Tuesday night. The Royals jumped out to an early lead by chalking up five runs in the first inning. Cleveland got as close as 7-4 in the fourth inning, but Matt Stairs put it out of reach with a grand slam in the top of the sixth—he finished with six RBI’s. Mike Sweeney, Juan Gonzalez, Ken Harvey and Andres Blanco drove in two runs apiece. Carlos Beltran scored four times, drew three walks and stole three bases. Brian Anderson got his first win of the season by going six innings and allowing four runs off seven hits and two walks—he’s 1-0.
