A University of Missouri student has apologized for telling fellow sorority sisters to lie about their health to give the sorority a better chance at winning a competitive blood drive. Christie Key, a student on the Columbia campus, issued a letter of apology to the American Red Cross, which scrambled to assure the public blood supplies remain safe despite the incident. Key faces discipline from both the university and Gamma Phi Beta sorority.
