Blues Lose Game 4 To Sharks

The Blues are one loss away from their season coming to an end in the first round of the playoffs. They lost to the Sharks 4-3 yesterday in game four and trail three games to one in the best of seven series. The Blues never held a lead on Tuesday, as Scott Thornton beat Chris Osgood in the first period to make it 1-0. Mike Danton tied it for St. Louis with a goal at the 11:25 mark of the first. Thornton and Alex Korolyuk scored unanswered goals in teh second period to make it 3-1 San Jose. The Sharks were able to hold off the Blues despite goals from Pavol Demitra and Doug Weight. Korolyuk scored in the third as well. The series moves back to San Jose for game five on Thursday night.
