The latest tuition increase at the University of Missouri means it will cost fulltime students more than $6,200 for a school year. That does not include housing or other expenses. Curators have approved the lastest tuition increase while also getting a report showing the University’s financial aid program is helping fewer undergraduate students and noting the university is attracting more higher-income studetns and fewer lower-income students. The new seven-and-a-half percent tuition increase comes on the heels of increases of almost 20 percent for this year, and 14 percent for the 2002-2003 school year.
