Senator Christopher Bond has made it official – filing to run for his fourth term in the United States Senate. Bond, who was first elected to Capitol Hill in 1986, says he’ll run on his record of experience and leadership. The filing puts Bond’s name on the August primary ballot. He says he won’t discuss the upcoming fall campaign until the Democrats have chosen their nominee. State Treasurer Nancy Farmer is expected to be the Democratic Party flagbearer in November.
