Pierce City Continues Recovery From May Tornadoes

The southwest Missouri town of Pierce City has reached a milestone in its rebuilding effort after last May’s tornadoes ripped the town apart. The grocery store has reopened. The loss of the old store has brought a new, improved store – one that is twice as large and has seven times more parking. Pierce City has been without a grocery store, among other things, since the twisters hit last May 4th.
