Josh Fisher’s final college game is one he’d probably like to forget. The Saint Louis University senior scored 21 points, but allowed Notre Dame’s Chris Thomas to rack up 39 as the Irish topped the Billikens 77-66 in the second round of the NIT. 27 of Thomas’ points came in the second half and he was the only Notre Dame player in double digits. Before Thomas exploded, SLU led 26-25 at the half, and held a 41-40 with 13:20 to go. That’s when Notre Dame went on a 25-7 tear and put the dagger in the Billikens’ season. Senior Chris Sloan had four points in his SLU finale, while fellow senior Phillip Hunt had no points. Reggie Bryant, who is a junior, had 19. The Billikens finished the season with a record of 19-13.
