The Kansas City-St. Joseph Catholic Diocese says a 210 page lawsuit against it is vague and should be thrown out. The sexual abuse suit was filed in January against the diocese and three priests. Nine men have filed the suit. it says the abuses took place from th 1960s to the 1980s. The diocese says much of the suit is “immaterial and impertinent.” A lawyer for one of the priests wants the plaintiffs to provide specific dates of the abuses because the priest does not recall any of the plaintiffs.
