The Missouri Tigers and Saint Louis Billikens open their post season tonight with games in the NIT. Both will go up against teams in the Big 10. It will be a personal game for Mizzou head coach Quin Snyder as he squares off against Michigan head coach Tommy Amaker in Ann Arbor. Snyder and Amaker were not only teammates at Duke, but they remain good friends. This is the first match up between the teams since they met in the Elite Eight in 1976… The Billikens won’t be at home, but they’re pretty close. With the NCAA Wrestling Championships in St. Louis, they’ve been moved to the Family Arena in St. Charles where they’ll face Iowa. It’s a 6:00 tip off for the Billikens and Hawkeyes.
