A jury says Ford Motor Company is responsible for the deaths of three members of a House Springs family in a traffic crash in 1999. A jury in Jackson County says Ford owes surviving family members $12.5-Million. The three people were killed when a hole was torn in their pickup truck’s fuel tank in a collision. The truck caught fire. The lawsuit charged the fuel tank was not adequately shielded.
