An Attorney General’s report criticizes Kansas City’s biggest charity – the Kauffman Foundation. The report says the foundation’s board lacks control and oversightand needs to reassert itself. The Attorney General recommends the foundation require that a substantial part of its giving benefit the Kansas City area. It also says board members need to have stronger ties to the Kansas City area.
