March 4, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

The Saint Louis Billikens were no match for the 24th ranked Louisville Cardinals on Wednesday, losing 75-48 at Savvis Center. Louisville made their point clear early on and jumped out to a 20-8 advantage with 8:15 to go in the first half and led 40-19 at the break. Reggie Bryant was the only Billiken in double figures with fifteen points. The loss drops SLU’s record to 15-11 overall and 8-7 in Conference USA. The Cardinals improved to 19-7 and 8-7 in league play. Saint Louis wraps up their regular season with a home game against Houston tomorrow. They’ve already clinched a spot in the C-USA Tournament, which gets underway next Wednesday in Cincinnati.
