The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed safety Jerome Woods to a six-year deal. After breaking his leg in 2002, Woods bounced back with his best season ever with 76 tackles, three interceptions and two touchdowns. Woods was the only member of the Chiefs defense to go to the Pro-Bowl this season and was the first Chiefs’ safety to go since Deron Cherry in 1988. The Chiefs also came to terms with tight end Kendall Gammon, signing him to a one-year contract.
