The good news for the Rams offensive line may mean bad news for their defensive line. Offensive lineman Adam Timmerman has agreed to a five-year deal with the team, but his contract leaves little money for the Rams to re-sign free agent Grant Wistrom. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch cited sources in this morning’s edition that say Wistrom may rejoin former Rams’ head coach Dick Vermeil in Kansas City. Timmerman has nine years of experience and five with the Rams. In four of the last five seasons—including 2003—he started all 16 regular season games.
