The SMS Lady Bears improved to 22-2 overall and 13-1 in the Missouri Valley Conference on Thursday night with an easy 84-47 win over Evansville at the Hammons Student Center. Meg Tierney led the Lady Bears in scoring with 16 points, Keri Koch had 15 and Jenny Lingor added 14. Freshman Rachel Martin had career high 11 points. They held the Purple Aces to 17-of-55 (31%) shooting, while the Lady Bears were 32-of-56 (57%).
