Border War Clash In Lawrence; Pulley Suspended

February 2, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

The Border War heats up in Lawrence tonight as Missouri faces Kansas. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 9-8 overall, 4-3 in the Big 12. Kansas is 13-4, 5-1. Recent history has not been kind to Mizzou. The Tigers have lost five of their last six games to the Jayhawks. Mizzou hasn’t beaten KU during the regular season since February 2001, and hasn’t won in Lawrence since 1999. The Tigers will be without point guard Randy Pulley. Head coach Quin Snyder suspended Pulley indefinitely after the junior guard failed to show up at practice last Thursday and Friday. Pulley was a no-show for Saturday’s game against Kansas State.
