Saint Louis University had another win in the palms of their hands but let it get away in a 68-62 loss at Charlotte. The Billikens had a 13-point lead in the first half, but failed to score over the final 3:46 of the half and led 35-32 at the break. The trip to the locker room didn’t solve any problems, as SLU failed to score in the first 3:28 of the second half. They eventually re-grouped and even took a 45-41 lead with 12:16 to go, but the 49ers responded with a 9-0 run and never looked back. Reggie Bryant had 22 points to lead Saint Louis in the loss, but was 0-7 from the three-point line. Eddie Badsen had 18 to lead Charlotte and Curtis Withers had 14 points and 14 rebounds. SLU is 11-6 overall and 4-2 in Conference USA.
