The Missouri Tigers took one on the chin last night in an 83-70 loss at Colorado. Michel Morandais had 28 points and David Harrison had 22 for the Buffaloes; Mizzou’s leading scorer was Arthur Johnson who put in 19. The Tigers trailed 34-30 at half, going 7 of 12 from the three-point line. But in the second half that hot shooting went cold–they were 5 of 20 from behind the arc the rest of the way. To make matters worse for the Tigers, freshman forward Linas Kleiza left the game with a shoulder injury–no word yet on the severity. The loss dropped the tigers to 8-8 overall and 3-3 in the Big 12. Missouri hasn’t won consecutive games since beating Coppin St. on December 2 and Indiana on December 6. MU hosts Kansas St. at the Hearnes Center on Saturday.
