Southwest Missouri State has hired a friendly face to coach their quarterbacks. Head Coach Randy Ball has brought former SMS quarterback Jay Rodgers on board. In 1999 Rodgers was the quarterback during Ball’s first year as the Bear’s head coach. Rodgers set the school’s all-purpose yardage record with 2,768. Rodgers replaces Joe Pendry, who’s been hired by the Houston Texans.
