The Blues will try to shake things up a little. Head coach Joel Quenneville has moved first-line center Pavol Demitra to right wing on the second line and promoted Doug Weight to center the Keith Tkachuk/Scott Mellanby line. Quenneville is hoping the move will balance out the scoring that Demitra and Tkachuk have provided in one line. Weight, has struggled with just five points in the last ten games–the hope is that playing with Tkachuk will open up more assist opportunities. In the second line, Quenneville is hoping Demitra’s prowess will liven up Petr Cajanek, who centers the second unit. The Blues have just seven goals in the last five games and have scored two goals or more in just two of the last twelve.
