Missouri Senators Respond Positively To State Of Union Address

January 21, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

President Bush’s State of the Union Address is getting praise from Missouri’s two U.S. Senators. Senator Christopher Bond thinks the President hit the right tone with his call for health care reform. Senator Jim Talent is pleased with the President’s thumbs up for the Association Health Plan proposal. Both add the President hit the right tone in discussing national security and the need for job creation. Talent and Bond say they’re hoping Democrats and Republicans can put aside their differences and work toward fixing some of the problems confronting the nation.
