Congressman Richard Gephardt of St. Louis has officially ended his run for the White House, announcing today in St. Louis that he is no longer a candidate for President. The announcement comes on the heels of Gephardt’s fourth place finish in the Iowa Democratic caucuses. Gephardt says he’ll return to Capitol Hill to complete his final year in Congress. Asked whether he would consider a position in a future Democratic Administration, Gephardt says he has not given that any thought.
