Johnson Clears Waivers, Sent To Worcester

January 15, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

Goaltender Brent Johnson will remain in the Blues organization for a while longer. He was put on waivers earlier this week, but no one claimed him so the Blues have optioned him off to their minor league team in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he’s expected to see playing time. Johnson was 4-3-1 with a goals against average of 2.43 as the Blues backup goalie. Current backup, Rheinhard Divis will start tonight as St. Louis hosts Columbus tonight.
