Southeast Missouri State broke out of its conference funk to beat Eastern Illinois 84-64 in Charleston, Illinois. Derek Winans paced the Indians with 29 points, while Dainmon Gonner added 17. SEMO upped its record to 8-6 on the season and 1-2 in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Indians held just a 33-31 advantage, before outscoring Eastern Illinois by 18 the rest of the way.
