The effort to set up a judicial system in Iraq is going to get some expert advice from former Barry County prosecutor Steve Hemphill. Hemphill will be in Baghdad later this week. He’ll be a senior legal advisor to the Coalition Provisional Authority, which now governs Iraq. He has background in the Middle East. Almost 20 years ago he was a human rights observer in the Palestine-Israeli occupied territories.
