Priest In Sex Abuse Case Facing Second Accusation

January 10, 2004 By admin Leave a Comment

A priest from Eureka who has launched a defamation suit against a man who accused him of sexual abuse is now facing a second sex abuse allegation. This second molestation accusation was made in St. Louis County Circuit Court under a “John Doe” filing. It was filed as part of the existing case in which the Reverend Alexander Anderson sued his original accuser, Arthur Andreas. Andreas countersued Anderson. Both molestation claims date back to the 1980s, when the accusers were teenagers at a home for boys where Anderson was the chaplain, Anderson remains as pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Eureka pending the outcome of a review.
