Governor Bob Holden says he’s willing to work with anyone this legislative session who shares his goals of creating jobs and investing in education. Holden says he looks forward to the 2004 session. He says he’s encouraged by the opening address of House Speaker Catherine Hanaway who stated she would not be taking the confrontational tone she took with the Governor last year, but would extend her hand to work cooperatively with the Governor this year.
