Last year Barret Jackman won the Calder Cup, given each year to the NHL’s best rookie. This year, the only thing he hopes to win is health, unfortunately that will come next year. Jackman will miss the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder. Jackman missed 17 games with a dislocated shoulder before dislocating again earlier this week. Instead of rehabbing and running the risk of doing dislocating it again, the Blues have decided to have Jackman get surgery and get ready for next season. He will not be ready for the playoffs.
