To say the Blues have slowed down since their nine-game unbeaten streak is an understatement. St. Louis lost to the Hurricanes 2-0 on the road last night, managing just 19 shots on goal and just two in the third period. Danny Markov and Kevyn Adams scored against Chris Osgood in a span of 1:56 in the first period for the game’s only goals. Kevyn Weekes stood in goal for Carolina last night to earn his fifth shut out of the season. The Blues have won just two games in their last ten and trail the Red Wings by seven points in the Central Division. St. Louis travels to Nashville Saturday night for their next game.
