Rockhurst tailback Tony Temple will call Gary Pinkel coach beginning this summer. Temple, who was recruited by just about every college in the nation, announced his intent to sign with Mizzou in a televised press conference Monday night. Verbal commitments are non-binding, which means he can still pick what ever school he chooses until he signs a letter of intent later this winter. Temple’s senior season was riddled with injuries, but his junior season featured 2,000 yards rushing and 32 touchdowns. Temple picked the Tigers over USC, Tennessee, Kansas State and Michigan. This marks the 22nd verbal commitment for the Tigers this recruiting class.
