Jefferson City’s proposed ban on smoking in restaurants has been vetoed by the Mayor. Mayor John Landwehr says it’s unfair to restrict some businesses while others of the same kind are not regulated. Restaurants that make half of their income from alcohol sales were not affected by the ban.
